Our Story

Essence of Healing was born from a personal journey that changed my life.

In 2021, I faced a series of health challenges that forced me to take a closer look at what I was putting on and around my body every day. After undergoing a partial thyroid lobectomy, I learned that what initially appeared to be a thyroid issue was actually microcarcinoma. That experience became a turning point for me.

As a retired Medical Assistant, I had spent years working within the healthcare field. While I value modern medicine and the important role it plays, my own experience led me to explore a more holistic approach to wellness. I became increasingly mindful of the ingredients found in everyday products, from personal care items to fragrances and household products. The more I learned, the more I felt called to simplify my lifestyle and seek cleaner, more natural alternatives.

What started as a personal wellness journey soon became a passion.

I began researching natural ingredients, essential oils, carrier oils, and holistic wellness practices. I wanted products that felt nourishing, comforting, and aligned with the lifestyle I was creating for myself and my family. When I couldn't always find exactly what I was looking for, I started creating my own.

Today, every product at Essence of Healing is created with intention, care, and a genuine desire to support others on their own wellness journeys.
